More like prototype was trying to be a Infamous clone.

Infamous 1 and Prototype 1 were released around the same time. IMO, the reason Infamous has continued to be a franchise and Prototype is now defunct is because Prototype took itself too seriously and encouraged being a murder-machine. Infamous understood the comic book hero better and encouraged either heroism or villainy. Also, riding a train rail is badass!

I'd say you're about 5 years late with this topic.

Agreed and they came out around the same time. so how they could be clones is beyond me, it is funny how many films and games come out around the same time based on the same thing, i mean did one or the other get wind of one of the plans, take hercules for example we have 2 films coming out at the same time, we had white house down and olympus has fallen come out same time, it's just how the industry works

Infamous came before Prototype but they both started development around the same time.
