is a Vizio 47 LCD 1080p for 1600 bucks a smart buy for the PS3?

It did only score a 6.6 on cnet but it seems like a really good deal. Other wise ill be spending 2400 plus tax on a SOny Bravio. I know what youll say buy the Sony but my wife wants to save some money so do you think this tvs a good for the ps3?

Go ahead and get the Vizio. If you get it from Sams Club or Costco they have a 1 year return policy.

Get it and test it out. It's a good deal for just $1600.00 47" incher! Just make sure you can take it back if you don't like it.

I've heard some mixed reviews about their TV's on Amazon.com. Some people say the quality isn't outstanding, but it's okay for the price. Others have had problems with the power supply and state that Vizio's customer service is absolutely horrible. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Sony and Samsung cost more, but for some people, quality, good service and peace of mind outweigh cost.

Vizio has the 42 inch 1080p coming in a few weeks for 999.99 with coupon. This seems like the best deal.
