I'm at Level 15 Trophy Score. Is this any good?

I only ask as I am not a trophy whore but if I love a game I will play it again to try and get Platinum (unlees it involves multiplayer trophies which spoil it for me)

I get through a reasonable amount of games as I rent a lot and pick up a few standard bronze and golds just going through the motions.

well i dont know what you mean by good. but if you mean high, yeah id say that is pretty high. im level 12 and im one of the highest of all my psn friends. i dont trophy hunt i just play a lot of games. the only platinum i have is Assassin's creed 2.

Funnily enough I'm playing that at the moment to get the Plainum (and I enjoyed the whole game first time around) I just need all the Feathers and 10 kill streak without getting hit.

I plan to play Brotherhood a Revelations but I probably won't go after the Platinum as they have multiplayer ones unlike AC2 (Damn!)

trophy level doesnt indicate if you are good or not..just that you play a lotcampzor

I agree, either that or you play alot of different games (like me) or you are a trophy whore.

Level 15 is pretty good. I'm currently level 19 with about 3500 trophies :P

I've had my PS3 since the 80GB fat model and am just now up to level 13.

I don't what good means in regards to a trophy score.

I completely understand those that are not interested but for me it add's a completion level factor to a game for me where when you get 'rewarded' for going back to a game. Games in the past where you get set challenges to beat and then unlock something in game really gives a game longevity to me, even when perhaps the game is not the greatest. I think I am one of those who likes collecting things but needs a reason no matter how small. Before trophies I woulnd't try to get 100% on a game withot some sort of a reward in-game if it was just the case of getting 100% on a stats screen that no one other than those you show (and give a damn). So Trophies give me that sense of challenge/achievement and reason even when the game is finished to go back to it.

I guess, if you're concerned about that kind of thing. First I was too, then I just realized I didn't give a damn and just wanted to play the games. Sometimes I still get annoyed though when I'm randomly looking at my trophy list and seeing games under 50% completion.

No, girls wont start paying attention until your at least a level 18

Bronze Trophies are worth:15 Points
Silver Trophies are worth:30 Points
Gold Trophies are worth:90 Points
Platinum Trophies are worth:180 Points

Level 2 is at 200 Points
Level 3 is at 600 Points
Level 4 is at 1200 Points
Level 5 is at 2400 Points
Level 6 is at 4000 Points
After that it rises by 2000 for each level till level 12 at 16000 points
At level 13 it goes to 24000 and it increases by 8000 with each succeeding level.

I'm level 13, I like getting trophies and some platinums but I'm very selective with the games I buy.

This is me, but I am level 23 with over 5000

Im level 10 with 2 platinums

I've been Level 12 for awhile now. The higher levels seem to take forever to get through, especially since I don't play my PS3 as much as I probably should. Most people seem to be in the Level 9 - Level 13 range. So yeah I'd say Level 15 is good.

Level 12 and I put a very unhealthy amount of time into my PS3 a couple years ago, so I'd say that you play a lot. I don't believe that the level correlates to skill though. I suck at gaming, but rented a lot for a while. All those games just add up. Anybody can get an Assassin's Creed 2 plat, but if pull off something like Far Cry 2, you're probably pretty good, at that game at least.

And 85% of mine are bronze and 11% are silver and 4% are Gold and 0 platinum.

If you want lots of trophies try the HD collections, they have a ton of easy trophies from the ones I've played.

Yeah, I know the trophy score does not relate to skill and think I am some sort of gaming Dynamo _ I actually think my skill has waned over the years be it to age or whatever. I rent alot of games and don't finish them if I don't like them or don't bother going for Trophies if they are to much of a grind or bore - Someone mention Far Cry 2 - When I first got it and completed it I went back to it after completion but I got soooo bored and it required alot more time than the game could offer back in equal enjoyment.

Sadly when it comes to what I consider skill trophies I think the ones I will never get are the Batman Arkham Asylum/City maximum combo or all the moves in one combo trophies.

Also I cannot seem to play fighting games anymore. Back in the Megdrive/Genesis + SNES days I was a demon at SFII and MK (Like most teenagers!) but I just don't seem to have the dexterity in my hands/fongers any more to pull off combos and special moves. - moving + entering special moves with the sticks rather than the d-pad

I can't seem to play the new 2d fighting games well - I also tried playing using the d-pad (like I used to) but that just feels clunky.
