If any game should get Game of the Year it should be the amazing Super Mario Galaxy. Finally some credit to a well made game! Uncharted deserves every inch of it. To bad some site *hint, hint* gives the faulty games more credit than the ones that the devs actually spent countless hours with and put their heart and souls on. Way to go! Uncharted truely deserves it. That was the best game I played this year.

Without a doubt, it's obvious what would've won. Harry Potter and The Dealthy Hallows.

Glad that IGN recognizing Uncharted as the game of the year for the PS3...unlike here at GS. I don't understand why GS did not have this game listed in any of the categories.... but all I see multiplatform games for the PS3.

I'm starting to love IGN more and more. Gamespot hasbasicly condemned the PS3. I'm not a fanboy on any side. I'm a multi-platform gamer and I can see Gamespot is very biased.

I'm still mad about IGN's review of Assassins Creed, but their respect for Uncharted is really helping them to make me forgive them for their stupid mistake.

as great as i think uncharted is i still think it didnt really get to the same level of some of the best games on the pc or other platforms if you forget about the graphics.

HAHAHA! Wow you are just so brainy! But my PS3 I bought on launch day in Japan and my 7 games (will be 9 once Devil May Cry 4 and Time Crisis 4 arrive from Japan) disagree with you.

The eye roll is for the fact that the PS3's release list this year has been crap and there is not alot of top games to choose from for game of the year. For me there was Virtua Fighter 5, R&C Future and Uncharted. Mina no Golf 5 was fun for a while but it is hardly game of the year material.

Oh man uncharted won 4 awards oh no five it awesome! now i must decide uncharted or cod4 :)karlotikas
