If you're trying to get those gems in Bloodborne in 2017...

This is mainly for those few new average Bloodborne players.

After going through nearly all of the wiki recommended chalices, I found p3umyztu to be the quickest and easiest.

First you have to have the Isz chalice which will happend later in the game and then you have to go through the normal Isz chalice to open cursed version which won't happen soon either as you need some material found in other chalice ... so yeah

The gems in the cursed chalice are ... cursed !!! while they are may have good stat it will also have one stat that will cripple you.

Yeah. I've been thinking of getting this game again. But just remind me, what can you do with the stuff you get from the chalice dungeons? Are they used to upgrade weps or what?

@henrythefifth: Well, there is one trophy for going through the important one to kill the Queen. Then in one of the dongeon you'll get the beast claw which is a neat weapon and well you need to have those to have the trophy for getting all the weapons.

You'll find gems in the dongeon to be more powerfull but they aren't necessary to finish the game. Most interesting stuff is found in later dongeon that need very high level just to survive.

Ok... I did the first chalice dungeon, but did not really like it, back when I had the game. So I just ignored them after that.

Yeah the dongeons aren't the most interesting stuff in that game. Some of them feel very claustrophobic or are so dark it is tense.

If you don't wish to have the platinium for that game, just don't bother with the chalice dongeon.

But if you wish to get the plat you don't need to do all chalice dongeon.

Anyway you have enough to do in the game by finding Amygdala, Ebrieta, Celestial Emmissary or doing the difficult ending by consumming 3 ombilical cords before the last battle.
