i just bought ps3 3 but what is better ps3 or xbox 360?

hey i just bought ps3 because more than one thing u can play online have the last of us :) i just bought the bundle with this game but i want to know what is better xbox360 or ps3?? and please tell my reasons that make u feel like u r right bro

on topic: well there really is no answer, i got the 360 over the PS3 because it had better graphics.. but then again, PS3 is free online, plays blu-ray and and the discs hold more of the game, its not distributed on two discs like the 360. (btw, kicking myself for that one) they both have their ups and downs (especially the 360) so in terms of an answer that is not biased, there really isn't an answer.

You buy PC for that. Graphics dont matter, i think PS3 ended up with best games in the end.

You can build PC with higher specs than PS4 for under 1000

I have both, to me it´s the exact same thing, I have PS3 and can play PS3 exclusives like Killzone, Resistance, God of War, plus all the multiplat, I have Xbox 360 and play the Xbox exclusive like Halo and Gears of war plus all the multiplat. Sure there is an advantage about having PS3, you don´t have to pay to play on-line, games are in one disc format and discs normally do not scratch. No biased opinion here. Half of my games are for one and half are for the other. Which HDD cap. PS3 you purchased ?

Excellent, that way you won´t have to upgrade the HDD like I did with my PS3 Slim, it came with a ridiculous 160 GB that I upgraded for a 500 GB that came out of my PS4. I´m about to upgrade my 360´s HDD too, now that you can install a 500 GB that´s what it´s going to get.

@mdk12345: True. The answer is Playstation. Not because this is a Playstation forum. Look at the exclusives and their quality. Uncharted series, Infamous, God of War, Killzone, Beyond two souls, Heavy Rain, The Last of Us. Playstation wins hands down. If you want to play online first person shooters and say x360 is the best then go on.

This is probably not the best place to ask this question since you are obviously going to get mostly answers favoring the PS3 when posting in a PS3 forum. Just like you would get mostly answers favoring the Xbox 360 if you posted in the Xbox forum.

I have both and in my opinion the PS3 has better exclusives, but the Xbox 360 is better at everything else. Xbox 360 has the better version of most multiplats, a better controller, a better OS, a better digital marketplace, and a better online service.

Even at $60 a year; that's only $5 a month, which to me is not a lot of money. Plus, if you keep your eyes open, there are plenty of discounts on Xbox Live that you can find throughout the year. I've been subscribed to Xbox Live for 10 years and I have never once had to pay over $45 for my subscription because I always purchase it when I find a discount. Usually I renew my subscription for only $35 to $40.

Online gaming is very important to me and I want to play on the best online service, which is Xbox Live, especially in comparison to the lackluster online service on PS3, so the price is well worth it to me. Someone that rarely plays games online might care more about saving money than having the best service though and therefore might be content with the PS3's online service; it all depends on how much value you place on online gaming to determine if it is worth it to you, but nobody can dispute that Xbox 360 is better in the online service category.

Buy both...exclusives aren't always the best option...get GTA 5 on both...best game ever made and also WWE games, Cakk if Duty games etc etc...

I started with 360 since the release for over 10 years, but in the last few years found the PS3 feature, and graphics slightly better. I believe in the last couple of years the PS3 has beaten the the 360, but at first the 360 was definitely the best system out.
