i have 365 dollars and i was wondering if i should buy a ps3

In a word, yes.

If for nothing else get it for the exclusives, blu-ray movies and the ports that happen to be better on PS3 than on the 360. Free online is also nice.

On a serious note... definitely grab you a PS3 and while your at it pre-order "God of War 3". As a first game you can't go wrong.

look into it a bit more before you make such a big purchase. make sure you look at the exclusives and find some that you know you'll like.

I love my PS3 and I certainly recommend it, but you can't go solely off of other's opinions

only get one if you care for the exclusives, otherwise u have a 360 of rthe multiplats

What kind of answer were you hoping to get by asking in the PS3 thread?

WIFE: I don't think you need another gaming system. You already have the Xbox 360.

go for it. with all the exclusives already out aswell as the ones coming (God of War 3) i don't think you'll regret it.

If I were in your situation then yes. Get a PS3 and choose between Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, Bioshock 1 (Trust me, the sequel isn't near the masterpiece of the original Bioshock),Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War 3, or Final Fantasy XIII if you want some truly spectactular titles in your library(I've spoiled enough of FFXIII on Youtube to say that it will be awesome, and we all know GoW3 won't let us down).
