it's not what it was cracked up to be.  Hopefully it gets fixed down the line.

Well it works alright other then if a site has a plug in it asks you if you want to continue but for a basic browers its alright in my mind. I dont really use it for much other then if Im bored :P

I hate it:

Very small text (yes, I hit "triangle" and made the adjustments)

Some plug-ins do not work

You need a USB keyboard & mouse (I own a laptop and don't have either)

Well, you can kinda fix that just simply going to display settings, and de-select whatever resolutions your HDTV is supporting EXCEPT 480p. Then everything would look bigger. To go back to normal settings, just go to display settings and select "Automatic". As for the whole web browser, I'd give it a 7/10 just because you can't copy and paste and some websites won't work properly like some buttons are inaccessible.

I can go to most sites using the browser. I've found out that places like Myspace only work to an extent, others like Yahoo don't support the browser at all. I mostly use it just to jump out of a game and look at a guide on gamefaqs.

I use it often. It works well, its not as fast as Opera or similar browsers though. Holding X on a link opens it in a new window. Square + L2/R2 zooms in and out, you can also move around the window while holding square. Hitting square again returns it to normal. It asks if you want to open a pop-up or use a plug in. It works on youtube, I can post messages on Gamespot forums. You can use any usb or blutooth mouse and keyboard. You can save images you found on the internet and download stuff to an external memory card. It doesnt work with everything though, and theres a limit to the memory. You cant watch movies from gametrailers and such as an example.

Typing with the controller works fine for me - like typing on a cell-phone - better history than a cell-phone actually so you can just pick on the right side real quickly. Plus most websites I go to are in the bookmarks.....

As far as console-based web browesers go, it is definetly the best.

It does take long to load some times, though, and can't really access certain flash content, like IGN's videos, and also, it sometimes doesn't load a page, and you have to refresh it though.

However, for what it is worth (and the fact that it is currently my only way of accessing YouTube, as my PC seems to think that I don't have Flash) the web browser is at least worth a try.

In other words, to sum up this entire thread: it's not worth it.  You are obviously on a computer somewhere right now with internet access, so that is your best source right there.  It doesn't replace a good computer browser, and I pretty much never use it.
