How will Kratos lose his powers this time?

So we all know God of War III is coming out soon. And to follow the action adventure sequel trend, We will have to build up Kratos' various powers again. So my question is...How do you think Kratos will lose his powers in God of War III or will he even lose them this time around?

To much Dew might give him more powers. He'll jump on them like a spider monkey!

Why do you assume that he's going to lose his powers? You ARE fighting the gods directly this time, remember? Kratos may be a BAMF, but remember how much effort he had to put into the Zeus fight? There's no way his powers are strong enough to take on all of the gods.

I think the beginning when the attack on Mt Olympus is taking place he'll have the power from the second game. He may lose some of these when he is sent to hell. A few posts above says he could be betrayed by the titans. This is possible and would explain why he goes for one in the demo.

well if he starts off the game powerful as heck it wouldnt be much of character progression would it?
