I was wondering how many people use the voice chat on ps3, i was wondering if its worth buying or not

i say 40-50%. i use it and it make the online a whole lot more fun

i use it and i hate it when other people dont it makes online 100x better if you can talk to the people your palying with

i know that if i didnt have a headset my online time would be seriously reduced

I use it with my clan in SOCOM. Rarley for other games, simply because it seems like no one uses it, or they just don't have mics.

I use mine all the time. Sadly, not many other people do. I would peg it at around 20%.

I have use it before but I dont really care for it much, now that my friend got a headset maybe I'll strat using it more.

I use mine for Warhawk and Rockband. Except when I have mine on for Warhawk doesn't mean I'll talk, I just want the voice to come out of the headset rather than the main speakers.

i dont understand why more people don't have a mic...i mean it can only be so fun sitting in a quiet room..by yourself..not talking to anyone.

I mean **** drop 30$ and get a blue tooth. Pisses me off how (id say) 35% of people have mics.

i think its useful, especially when playing shooters. If your planning on buying a headset, get the official Sony Playstation bluetooth headset.
