How long is the Batman:Arkham Asylum campaign?

How long is it? I played the demo and really enjoyed it, but with no online mode, I see not much reason to buy it instead of rent it. How long is the main story mode roughly? I'm not too bothered about completeing 100%, platinuming, getting side things etc; I just want to play through the game.

I havent played it yet but I heard it was pretty long. Atleast long enough, about 12-14 hours or something I think.

It's around 10-12 hours if you only focus on main story progression.

The game is really fun and there is quite a bit or re-playability when it comes to collecting riddles, solving puzzles as well as Challenge rooms gameplay.

It's a fantastic game for Batman fans.

i just beat it without goin for anything unless it was in my path in about 12 hours

Let's just say that I've been playing it for a good while and I'm only 30% complete with the game. There is a lot to do in the game and it is easy to stray away from the main storyline and search Riddler clues and all that stuff. Awesome game.

Took me about 15 hours, but every minute is worth it. Its kind of an open world game, and looking for riddles just adds to the length. Buy it for sure :)

What, 10 hours if you "run and gun" your way thru? That would not be enough for me. It would seem like it is over all to soon.

8-10 collecting half of the riddlers clues, then the challenges another 4 hours, and another 2 hours to get the plat :)!!! I had this one to a 100% really fast :(

First of all I just got this game earlier this week at the Toys R Us buy two get one free event...
Anyway the game is spectacular. I am a completion freak so I have been taking my time with it and trying to get all the riddles. I am about 4 hours in and am at 27% completed. I have only died once. Hope this helps.

I dont know where people are getting 12 hours from, its not that long but still worth playing. I beat it in about 8 doing no extras, though Ihave gone back and found all the riddles and all the Chronicles.

It took me about 12-15 hours to beat the story mode of the game. That's not including finding everything, just playing through the story mode until the end.

I just beat the game. Awesome adventure. I lost track of time during the game because it was so addictive. Definitely a tie for GOTY so far along with Infamous.
