help with AC black flag

hey everyone this is my first AC game, and so far I am enjoying it, but I have a few questions.

1. How the heck do you disarm someone?

2. their is a place called the animus. what do I do here? is there any point?

3. is it better to use the hidden blades most of the time, or should I also spend money on swords?

First AC game huh... No wonder you don't know about the animus, which is hard to explain... The AC series is based on a modern time background, and they use the animus to load their ancestors' memories stored in DNA.

To disarm an enemy, press X button (A for xbox360)

Hidden blade is for assassination, I think it is the most stylish way to kill. But spending money on swords is also important, cuz sometimes you have to fight tons of enemies like a barbarian.

thank you for the info. There are times in game, where I get an option to exit to the main screen or exit to animus. Is there any purpose to exit to animus? also, do you know how to disarm an enemy, and use his own weapon against him?
