Help or Suggestions PLZ!

So my ps3 controller's left analog stick, seems to stick up when i push up on it sometimes. What are some potential fixes?

I take care of them and what not but this controller is getting a lil old, but i dont want to have to spend 50 dollars for a controller if their might be a fix.

happens to me too. really annoying for sensitive platforming sections in games. i have the old pre-DS3 controller, though. gonna have to replace it soon probably.
