HD 1080p and more titles?!?

Ok.

As Ive always been a ps-fan I got myself a ps3 thinking this one is Waaaaaaaaaay better than xbox360, guess I was wrong.

I also bought a full-hd, 1080p Tv to enjoy playing all those hd-games on my ps3, unfortunatly nearly all ps3 is only in 720p while xbox360 got 1080p on almoste everone,,, this makes me so damn fustrated.

Why sony? why dont you get some good titles  that is developed for ps3?

am I completely wrong about this or is anyone else feeling the same way?

This is VERY true. I heard somewhere that quite a few Xbox360 games that are apparently 720p are actually also upscaled. But anyway, its because developers have not yet worked out how to get all the power out of the PS3, Killzone 2 should be 1080p (proper 1080p) and you will see more and more of 1080p in the next few years. And no you really didn't make the wrong choice with PS3.

 Wait. Wait a damned second. Did you just say, "all the power out of the PS3"? Hehehe, you're just kidding right? RIGHT?

Anyway, I'll be playing GTA 4 tommorow at native 1920 x 1080.

Yeah i wouldnt base your decision of wether it was a good choice of system, based on the games that are 1080p. It seems like anymore people look past what games are and where they came from and expect them to be this incredibly glamorous and sparkling picture with unattainable graphics and really could care less about what is actually going on in the game. I'm not saying that I dont enjoy insane graphics aswell but I dont feel the need to put such an emphasis on it. So using your logic would it have been a bad choice picking a 360 because not all 360 games are 1080 either? Really when it comes down to it your not playing a game on your PS3 while playing the same game on 360 right next to it taking notes and pictures of which one is worse, and even if you are that awesome your probably would realize after a reflection of your notes that the differences are miniscule.

So maybe not everything on the PS3 is 1080p but remember that it is only a 2 year old system and there is still alot of work going into future titles and the system itself, so soon enough, maybe most games will be 1080p, but till then why not play games wether they are or not. I'm not saying that it doesnt bother me that there aren't a ton of 1080 titles but its not going to stop me from playing anything.
