I dont need it to kill Halo. Halo is so average that any FPS games can kill it. However, Haze won't be able to kill the BS from the halo fanboys, though.

Theres this magical place called "outside".. look into it k. jeez, halo 3 is a good multi-player game.. deal with it.. PS3 will have its own FPS's to compare but in the long run.. there just FPS's and in a market where we have free roam and true story driven fps games like oblivion, the darkness, bioshock etc... Things like halo, killzone, haze, crysis etc. are coming into a market where people always expect more and as these generalized FPS's dont really go beyond what we've come to expect so you can expect alot of complaining, bashing or " this games over rated" arguments going on for every single one of them.
Just play the damn game amd stop being losers.. lol, dont like it get another, dont waste your life on a forum complaining to people who really dont care what you have to say, because I sure dont care really..

i love halo multiplayer but i think the true halo killer is COD4 ive played online 13 hours in the past 3 days
i wish people would stop saying this, in the rare event sony make an fps people are always saying that it will beat halo and it has never happended, but the single player could be better than halo, but i do not think that in the multi player

but to say anything on ps3 is a halo killer is stupid because everyone who has n xbox box n halo isnt going to go out and sell there system to go buya ps3 game. in all fairness to only a 360 game could kill another 360 game, just like another ps3 game could only kill a ps3 game
it would take a lot more games from one system to kill a game from another system its just not realistic

Well as much of a Sony fanboy I be... Halo 3 is an awesome game and will always love the Halo series and will have much fun playing it whenever wherever... I don't think any FPS could be as much fun as the Halo series to be quite honest... other FPS games need to start having satisfying co-op campaigns because playing a game with friends is alot more fun than playing alone which may be a reason why Gears of War was also a successful shooting game....

I owned Falo 1 and 2. Yea no BS. Me of all people. And the SE silver box for Falo 2. Yep midnight buy and all. Hanging with all the idiot Falo fans even. So I know that game, I know how all of that goes. I Traded it in like 3 weeks later on MGS3,, I think it was. No BS. Was it that bad? no. But it was not that good? Falo is by a mile the most overrated game "not just game" but most overrated piece of entertainment ever!!! Thats not a bash, that plain truth! Cod 4 is 3 times the game Falo is. And Cod is not the best game of the last 5 years. And BioShock is now following the overhyped over talked about suit. And the editors get BS "or money" to say its some game changing thing to the industry lol "Ala the video game awards BS." Its just the micro fans only know micro and that was their first gaming exspierance. So they actually think Fable is a great RPG and Forza is a great racer, and all that BS. They have no clue. The whole thing Is like a sick brainwashing experiment.

Haze is most certainly not a Halo killer. In fact, Haze looks as boring as washing toilets. Currently the PS3 has no exclusive FPS that can even be considered one.

Halo will never be "killed" because of the successful history of accomplishments that it amassed. fine, what I will tell you is that there is no such thing as a Halo killer. I'm not saying that Halo 3 is so good that it's invincible. I'm just saying that there will always be a better game than what you have. So I guess Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time was a Super Metroid killer? NO. Both games are unique and it completely depends on what your taste is. There is no such thing as a game killer. But there still can still be pwnage games though.

Over hyping Halo to a person who's never played the previous versions killed Halo. I got the game off of hype and all my friends saying to get it, so I expected it to be down right amazing. It was good, but a total let down with all that hype IMO.
Everyone is putting all the eggs in the one basket of Killzone for being the Halo killer, remember when the first one came out and everyone touted it as the Halo killer and what happened? That game was terrible, terrible is actually an understatement. After playing that game I have had no delusions over Killzone 2 being anything special. If it is it is but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Stop Hyping Haze, you guys havent played the game except for the Devs and the Media, dont let this game end up like a killzone 1 after it was being hyped as a halo killer. Not saying its a bad game, but these are two different games.
Halo 3 I would say is a good FPS console wise, but honestly, the following it has it small once you step into the PC realm. Games like CS have been going strong for 8 years, and more people play that everyday than all the people that own halo 3.

You might want to check your facts on that particular statement. Per Steam's game statistic database @ http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=stats you are a little off. Halo 3 alone sees over 1.1 million players a day. Every single one of Steam's games (CS, TF, etc.) combined doesn't even reach the half-million mark per day.
