Having friends on your Ps3, does that slow things down?

I was wondering if adding people to my friends list slows t down. I'm new to the ps3 world but i love it..

No not really. It does take longer for the friends list to load up, but overall.. Nothing changes.

coool. yeah i meant does it slow gaming down any. i did notice that loading my friends list took a bit longer.
