Should game developers make games that are realted to movies. Example: Ironman the game for the psp and huge consoles.

All you do is fly, punch, shoot, grab, kill, and all over again. I hate it. Comment on this gamers!

I don't think it was released the same time so it may not qualify. I may be wrong.

No they shouldn't, but they've made a couple of good games that turned into movies like hitman and possibly MGS

I don't think it was released the same time so it may not qualify. I may be wrong.

It didn't come out until 2 years later, but it's still a game based on/related to a movie.

It just wasn't a stupid cash-in.

Absolutely They should

I played sum great Star Wars games & Ghost Rider has sum good gameplay but overall they blew it with that one

All they gotta do is hire the right people & throw money at it plus test it over & over & over and it should turn out right, but it seems they just rush them out

The only movie-to-game that is worth mentioning is the Chronicles of Riddick.

Games-to-Movies has potential, but i haven't seen anything that good.

As long as devs put effort into creating a good game based on a movie and not a game that has to be out when the movie hits theaters just to cash in, it's fine. Unfortunetly it doesn't work that way.

I agree, most movie based games are shallow and formulaic. Another problem with these types of games is the production time is stressed to have a game's release coinside with a movie. The result is usually a buggy clunker of a game that becomes boring after the first five minutes. There are a few exceptions. Most of the Star Wars games I've played are pretty good. However, the Star Wars games based srictly on the movies aren't so great.

Another issue to consider is that many of the movies these types of games are based on are also formula driven; fly punch, kill, blow things up for the big explosion, all pretty standard stuff.

I think game developers should make good games. If they can do that from a movie's storyline, than they should. If the game is being made for no other reason than say, a toy in a Happy Meal, they would do us all a favor by leaving it alone.

Games turned into movies are good. (Final Fantasy VII, Hitman)
Movies turned into games are bad. (As what everyone else say above)

Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was good, but that was indirectly based off a movie. However, I did really enjoy King Kong.
