gta vcs . and lcs on psp are good but i think ctw should have stayed on its intended platform-nintendods as psp doesnt do it justice its bascially the same game minus the touch controls that made it so unique
it was like taking a wii game stripping it down for ps3 360 controls,

Well it depends. Vice City stories has definitely got a longer game-play than Liberty City Stories. Vice City also has helicopters and better boats. Liberty City Stories gets really boring after you have competed all the missions. However, Vice City Stories is the best game for me. GTA Chinatown wars is the thumbs down. The birds eye view can sometimes get a bit annoying and the controls can be difficult at times, If you are planning to buy GTA Chinatown wars then i advise you not to get it on the PSP. If you have a Nintendo DS then i recommend ChinaTown Wars. Rating: Vice City Stories = 10/10 Liberty City Stories = 7/10 Chinatown Wars = 3/10
I thought Chinatown Wars was the best it may be in it's old form in top down view and it may not have any voice acting but I thought the story was funny and it was great for me as it brought back GTA in classic style how I originally played it. Someone said the DS version is better of Chinatown wars I own both versions and I thought the PSP version was much easier and the graphics are more clearer. Then I'd say Liberty City Stories at has some good characters it's pretty much like GTA 3 and Vice City Stories was that bad but it has the best soundtrack out of the three.
Chinatown Wars is my favourite. People hate it because of the top down view but I grew up playing GTA2 so I love it. Plus it has more stuff to do in it I think.

And to answer the question, I found the lack of a set of shoulder buttons to be a bit of a pain at times in LCS, like when trying to do the Noodle delivery missions or strafe-firing a weapon out the side of a car and I HATED THE 1980s & all things 'Miami Vice" ... so I would probably go with CTW.
chinatown wars is the most fun as far as single player goes. i dont have the game on psp nor iphone but i do have the ds. does the psp version support more than 2 ppl online?
The more I own Chinatown Wars, the less I can recommend it. It's fun at first, but it sort of wears off. And the game is rather short- took me under 12 hours to complete it. That includes running enough drugs (which was a great idea) to buy every house in the game. The most criminal thing (no pun intended) about that game is that there's simply so little to do after you beat the game. That's the real kicker for me- I've put in less than 1 hour into the game after the story was completed. If you own all the houses, there's no incentive to run drugs anymore (nor blow up security cameras, as you don't need drug money anymore) or do any of the missions they've offered. Nor do they offer things like races, gang wars, assassination missions, or anything of the alike. And as a bit of a downer, they didn't even include custom soundtracks like in the iPod/iPhone version. I played a bit of LCS years ago when I owned the UMD and that seems like a much better option. I've never tried VCS.
Hmm... I passed the GTALCS and it so bad. Now I play GTA Vice City Stories on PSP and its game is good. GTA Chinatown Wars I passed to 28% but is good game. My choise is GTA Vice City Stories. GTA Chinatown Wars no good and no bad, GTALCS is bad and GTA VCS is good!
This. The difference between CTW and the Stories games is that CTW doesn't feel like a downgraded console GTA. CTW is unique, brings new things to the series and is just way more fun to play than the Stories games. If I want to play a game like GTA 3 or Vice City then I'll play the original GTA 3 or Vice City, not vastly inferior versions of the same thing. As a portable game, CTW is miles better than both Stories games.
