I got mine a few hours ago as well. It's great! I haven't been able to sign into to PSN though, because it's down for maintenance. :(

Yeah me too. I'm anxious to play Batman: AA on my Slim, but can't until PSN is back up. For now, I'm just playing it on my 360. :D Don't ask me why I got both versions of the same game... I just wanted to. :P
I don't know if this applies to Gamestop in the US, but in Canada EB Games is taking 60GB and 80GB PS3s and letting you upgrade to a Slim for $49.

They want the old 60gb eh... RIP-OFF. Not only does the slim NOT (allow) linux and bc, it also has less usb ports, no SD or MMC ports.

I don't see it as a rip-off, I just think it's for select people. I've tried to sell my 60GB and no one has offered me anything higher than $300, so if I decide to go with EB it will get me about $300 for my 60GB and save me the aggravation of actually finding someone to buy it. I've used the BC function a total of one time and that was just to see if it worked, and the Linux feature is useless.
I got my slim a few hours ago and love it, it is my first PS3 and I think I like it better than my 360, and the dead quiet fans are very nice. I also picked up an HDMI cable, inFamous and Metal Gear Solid 4:D
Cool beans...I have a Gen1 PS3 and it has never messed up on me. When I went to reserve my PSP go the guy asked me to rerved a PS3 slim...He was like "its lighter, smaller...etc"...I was like, its SITTING on my shelf...I dont carry it with me.
