Good RPGs for PSP?

I was thinking about getting an RPG game for the PSP for a change and was wondering if there are any good ones about?

I'm not really into Final Fantasy and I liked the sound of Innocent Life Harvest Moon but then I saw Gamespot's review of only 5.3 and that has given me doubts.

So if anyone could give me and advice on good RPG's that are worthwhile for the long run that would be great! :)

If you want to get in a truly hard-core immersive RPG for PSP, that would easily have be the Monster Hunter series (by Capcom I think?) I'm playing Gurumin: A Monsterous Adventure, and it's pretty fun. The theme is a little childish and cute. The gameplay is fun though, and the little girl is funny.

I think the best RPG available for the PSP right now is Tales of Eternia. It's not GREAT, but it's a very good old school console RPG. There are some other worthy titles, but the majority of PSP RPGs are not very enjoyable, in my opinion. That is the problem with PSP that I want solved badly.

Onenot mentioned yet (or i missed it), Valkyrie Profile. It was awesome on PSone and it's still awesome on PSP I don't know if it's easy to find though seeing as how it's one of those niche titles and all

Well for now the best rpg´s are Tales of Eternia(import from Europe) Valkyrie Profile and Gurumin. And there are very good rpg´s comming out this in July, Brave Story (I made a topic about it: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=25690111), Riviera and Tales of The World.

Yeah, Valkyrie Profile is cool. You could also check out the Final Fantasy Tactics remake that is coming out soon. I know you said that you aren't into FF games, butit is one of the best strategy RPGs ever made.

There is really no good RPG for the PSP you can see by the reviews none of them scored 9 & up. If you have played Fin Fan & DQ you'll get disappointed, tha is unless you're like me & other peole who can play FF in their PSP.

Well, there are none of the kind of RPGs I like on the PSP and so far I haven't seen any that look too great that are on the way except maybe Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
