If there is another online game thats as satisfying as COD4 would be Burnout Paradise, you actually have to talk to your friedns on getting things done and its got over 100 hours of gameplay, including single player. most of my buddy list is of burnout players.
Forget all those suggestions up there. I'm a big COD4 online fan and I have played GTAIV and BFBC and didn't like any of them. The online game I enjoy the most along with COD4 is Metal Gear Online (Buy Metal Gear Solid 4 for it). It feels like COD4 and SOCOM combined. Some of the stuff are different of COD4.
Obviously Warhawk. I thought GTA IV was bad overall. I was really impressed with Rainbow Six Vegas 2, the character customization and the unlocking of loads and loads of guns and armour makes it quite hooking!
I'd say warhawk, (I got it last week and it's a blat to play). But there are a whole lot of online games coming out this year like resistance 2, LBP (if that counts), motorstorm 2, and others so you may want to wait.
