god damn paranoia

I'm a bit paranoid about my playstation 3 breaking down. I'm not really bothered if it breaks down, I'll get a new one.. but the only thing I'm bothered about is loosing all my data.

I have a psn account, but I haven't used it on this playstation 3 yet. I've got a few questions, all the trophies I have right now (currently a lot for gta 4) will they sync with my old psn account that I'm going to put on my new playstation 3?

If so, if my playstation 3 dies on me, can I sync my trophies with a new playstation 3? and how can I back up my game saves?

if you sync your trophies on a ps3 (go and look at trophies) it will upload them to the server, then any ps3 u sign into will get those trophies. If you get some and dont sync, then the ps3 dies u loose the ones that didnt sync

As for game saves, either copy on a flash drive or use the ps3 backup feature

so as long as I manually sync them, I'm fine?
