Well if you spend $700 on a multimedia system then it better play movies and music otherwise you are getting ripped off.

This update would be good... If I had anything blu-ray aside from Resistance... Only game I have, and Im not sure if its blu-ray or not.Matt2556

All PS3 retail games are on Bluray discs I believe, but this update has nothing to do with games on Bluray, it's for Bluray movies. Specifically it adds BD Live which allows you to access features for your movie that are available online. It also adds resume play for Bluray and DVD movies which allow you to take out the disc and not lose your exact stopping place when you put it back in.
