A good online game is Warhawk. If you don't have any friends then I can recommend Killzone 2.

Start with Call of Duty 4, or you can just wait till Modern Warfare 2 comes out. Other good online games: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Metal Gear Online) Killzone 2 Call of Duty: World at War Warhawk Don't bother getting Resistance 2. Its fun at first but gets really boring couple weeks later.

MGS4 play MGO (metal gear online) really good online play and its fun.

Also Killzone 2 is fun and has alot of action.

ill say a couple of games from different categories.

if you like these....

shooters (fps) i would reccomend cod 4, cod waw or killzone 2.

racing games. I would reccomend race driver grid and burnout paradise.

sport games. Fifa 09
