Finally got a PS3 YAY

Finally got my PS3 but the downside is that I have to play it on a standard TV. My question is can you play the PS3 on an OLD CRT monitor that is not hdcp compliant? Probably not but worth asking anyway. I just hate how standard tvs show jagged lines like if the line is a smooth line, it makes that small smooth line jittery.

I dont think you can play it on a non HDCP monitor. Though you can get maxed out quality on a HDCP 1920x1080p monitor. And they are not that expensive.

To answer your question, No but switch to Component Cables instead of those Composite ones that came w/ it and it's not too bad a picture. Oh and congrad's!

Oh please, PS3 is so not the dark side. One thing I hate about playing Call of Duty online so far though is kids screaming profanities lol. My nephew bought the game Wanted yesterday and it is HORRITASTIC and yes I am wanting a new game but have not decided yet, going to sign up for gamefly.

how come people see lines on SDTV's? i never had such a problem. mmmhh... its because you are playing on an INTERLACED tv your settings are 480i am i right? switch it to 480p and they will disapear. also make sure your tv suports is too :D
