Broken Steel first as that lets you play after you finish main story, Then Point Lookout then The Pitt, and after that Mother ship

I don't have the ps3 version but I have played all of them on 360. I'd say go with Broken Steel first which lets you level up to 30, then Point Lookout. The Pitt had a pretty good story and tough decision to make at the end. Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta weren't that great but you did get some pretty good weapons and armor that made up for it.

Point lookout is better, unless you are VERY interested for the alien weapons.

I've been told that Point Lookout is the better add-on. But I hated Fallout 3, so I'm probably a bad person to be taking advice from about it.

I would go with Point Lookout first, as I think that Broken Steel breaks the game in the sense that it makes you much too powerful by the time you're level 30. If you want to be a God, be my guest, but I'm going with Point Lookout and the Pitt only.

I'm just buying the GOTY edition and trading my other one towards credit for it. I looked at the DLC and there's 5 at $9.99 each, better off just getting the copy with them all and save some money.

Well, it doesn't matter. But I would say Broken Steel is essential. It raises the level cap, adds a few things here and there to the wasteland and doesn't "end your game". So if you're looking for the extra perks, get Broken Steel. All of the others seem more like a side quest.
