hello gamespot, i just bought a fake psp battery as my old one decided to randomly blow up. It is a 2200mAh unofficial battery I got for 3 quid off Amazon. It lasts 50mins maximum when gaming. It's pretty worth it no matter how long it lasts. My question is, where to I go to buy an Official Stamina Long Lasting PSP-1000 battery pack ?
Depends on where you live? If you're in the States, which I assume you are, everywhere sells batteries for PSP lites. You said 1k series though. Go to Gamestop or Gamerz, (EB games chains in general, not just gamestop) and you should be able to find something. Don't go to ebay unless it's new/in box. ~Sarcian

U can probably get a battery pack for PSP-1000 pretty much anywher. Some good places are gamestop, in america, or eb games, etc. Hope u find your battery!

lol lol I bought a fake one from amazon also.You can tell by the packaging on mines.The typeset used for the word "SONY" looks a little off
