I just wondered what everyone's opinions were. I think it's a positive. I still have my PS2 and my friend / neighbor has Metal Gear and we trade games, temporarily, a lot. Plus, when I buy pain, I'm still saving almost $100!
if I were you, i would get the new 80gb since u have a ps2. :) use the rest 100 bux for lbp and resistance 2. those two games would keep u busy until february 2009 :) I really hope killzone 2 would kick ass.

There is no point in supporting BC if the system will cost as much as the ps2 themselves. Right now on ebay, people are buying 60gb ps3's for 1200 probably for the sake of BC, that's about 400 dollars more than the current 800 dollars model. So i guess it has been trashed. I think the more recent ur SKU(or ps3 model) the better it will be for you. Additionally, i don't know if you know but piracy is honey to bees on ps2 games, if you want to buy the BC model for collection sakes... then i can only do this ... =.-"

Not everyone has the money right away to randomly go to an electronics store and buy a PS3.
Anyway, BC is probably important to many people possibly because their PS2s are broken and what not, atleast thats my problem. However, I can live without the BC, but wouldn't mind having it.
