Well I was just wondering if Dynasty Warriors PSP is a port of the old PS1 game, or if it's something totally different. Help! I'm hoping it's a port :?

Hey,
It is not a port: it was altered to play on a psp f.e. the areas you fight in are a lot smaller etc.
Be sure to read the review.
It didnt get a great score on GS, but nevertheless, i am enjoying it. It is pure hack & slash, few loading times and lots of action. Although it might get repetitive soon.

Its an ok game..but its really not worth getting IMO unless you get a good deal on it.  I paid only $13 for it a while back, so I don't care so much...but its one of the few PSP games that I could care less to own.  It does get repetative pretty quickly, but if you really enjoyed DW for the PS2...then you should enjoy it on the PSP for the most part.

im a big fan of DW and these games are great. the second is based of DW5. the game is broken up like a stradegy game but when you move, you fight like on the consoles.

How do people find the courage within themselves to spend their money on a game that gets consistently bad reviews?
