Does anybody else hear their PS3 crackle when starting up?

I always hear it crackle is it a problem?

I hear it too. When I shut it off as well. I always thought it was the hard drive

I hear it on my fat aswell, this is normal and nothing to worry about. Had my ps3 since launch, no problems whatsoever.

Good to hear I'm not the only one hearing this crackling sound inside my PS3 slim.

I've had my PS3 since launch and I have never heard that.

I hear it even with the original fatty. But I guess only when I turn it off after long periods of hard gaming.

Same for me. Every so often I hear snap crackle pop.

I have both the "Fat" and the "Slim"

This happens on the "Slim", but not the "Fat"
