No Sony does not.
Marcus a kid that plays video games and he is hip and cool as all youngsters wants to be, therefor Marcus is perfect...
If it somehow makes people not wanting to buy a PSP because of Marcus it is their problem and probably got bigger issues than what gaming device to buy.
I think Kevin Butler needs to be VP of replacing the kid from Role Models as the spokesman for the PSP.
I think Marcus is funny. He's definitely not "cool"
but as long as the commercials are funny, I don't really care
Kevin Butler.I think Marcus Rivers is a good spokesperson. Did the PSP even have anyone before him?

I find his commercials hilarious, but that's becuase they SUCK.
At least they stopped making commercials for him.
How about no spokesperson, just more marketing their games?
MGS: PW, KH: BBS, D: FF and more all deserve to be marketed as much as New Super Mario Bros. is.
I couldnt agree more. Im not going to buy a PSP based on whos trying to sell it to me, I choose to buy it if there are games I really want to play on it. Emphasizing their best games would yield far more interest in the system if you ask me.. All I can remember about the marcus psp commercials is that they were bad, I cant remember any specific reason Id want to buy a psp after watching them... Merely knowing a product is available isnt good advertising, its relating to the consumers interests that sells it. And id be interested after seeing a clip of D: FF for example, rather than a goofy kid saying psps are cool.. lol.I find his commercials hilarious, but that's becuase they SUCK.

I like Marcus. What's wrong with the lil' dude? Although, he does sort of work that lollypop with a little too much... fixation. If you dig...
... but he's a cool little kid, he's perfect for the part. Although, as stated above, I would love for them to give a little more screen time to the actual GAMES. They've got nothing to hide in the graphics of the system. Not like the "other handheld"... which I own. But very few games on that are eye-poppers, they rely on excellent game mechanics and writing. But yeah, get the camera off the kid and onto the system a little more, Sony... We're not purchasing Marcus.
If he was more like his character in Role Models, he would be hilarious.Of course without the cussing, I guess.BloodMist
If he's supposed to be a modern American kid, that foul mouth would be accurate... I say, LET MARCUS CUSS! LET MARCUS CUSS!
:D
Can't you see it? "Hey ****, try this **** game out. It's the ****. I mean, this **** will **** you up, for-REAL."
I feel they don't advertise the good games much at all. While I don't mind the Marcus ads, the only games I recall seeing in those commercials were the subpar launch titles for $9.99 and the glimpse of MGS: Peace Walker. They should focus more on showing the games themselves imo, or at least blend the comedy in while showing off the games, like the KB PS3 commercials.Chaay
I agree 100% they need to stop selling the PSP itself, and advertise the games more! if it is shown that the PSP has good games, more and more people will buy it! Whats the point of buying a system is you don't know about the games for it?
