Way too much name recognition with the PlayStation brand. They'd be fools to change it.

Sony hasn't changed their controller since the first Playstation so I doubt they'd change the name either. :P (just kidding... somewhat)

It is recofnisable universaly and is such a large brand. If they were to change anything it would just be that its not got the number at the end lik PS4. It would proably change to PlayStation (que new name)

I hope not I want to see Playstation 4 and then Playstation 5. Sony did promise their will be a Playstation 9 one day. I hope to have Playstations 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 all together in my collection one day. (and the Sony handheld gaming systems)

Name recognition is invaluable. So no, they won't be changing it.
