I just read that a problem with the latest firmware is that in order to make save files or install games after the patch was too wipe the HDD. I have 60G left on my HDD, yet I cant play Ratchet and Clank becuase it requires 164Mb of free space. I have all my MGS4 save data and cleared game data on it, and I dont want to lose it. Can I save those to a thumb drive or something and put them back on the HDD after the wipe if I have to?
