there was an interview at 1up where he was being asked about the problems with porting the game to the consoles, and it sounded like he said the ps3 version would run at 60 frames per second, which would be quite an accomplishment if true. I'm not sure is he was mistakenly referring to the Pc version though. Did anyone else catch the interview?
i believe the RAGE engine is supposed to run at 60 fps across all it's platform. so maybe yes, maybe it will run at 60 on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, AND Mac. atleast i would hope so.

He made what is arguably the most influential game of all time, and is known for making the most technically impressive engines in the industry. Plus, he's been up in space. Space, mother****er.
I watched the tech demos, and yea, they did say their aim was for it to ran at 60 fps.
And also supposedly they are working on all three versions, PC/360/PS3 all at the same time rather then doing ports and so fourth, that way whenever a problem arises on the PS3 it can be fixed rather then down the line. If all is true then it looks good, lets just wait and see

Personally, I would rather hear about Chuck Norris.
But going 60FPS on PS3, I'll believe it when I see it.
I think he said that the PS3 version will run slightly better than the 360 version because of the compression in order to fit Rage on 2 DVD9s. I didn't hear him say that PS3 or the 360 version will run at 60fps but he did say that the PS3 version will run slightly better.
