Diablo 3 PS4 size confusion

It says on PSN the game size is 28GB but when I downloaded it, it was only 5.5GB. I don't get this. There are other games I actually want them digitally, but they are like 40GB and I don't want to fell the HD this fast. And if you played Diablo 3 on PS4, did you get the legendary item gift? I tried to set a blizzard account and link it to my PS account yet nothing happened

I don't know about the size thing I'll have to check mine when I get home. Maybe you only need 5.5gb to start running the game while the rest downloads in the background? If you are concerned about space go out and get a 1TB drive for like $100 or so and replace your current hard drive with it. I did that I have TONS of games installed on my device with room to spare.

Also yes I did get the free legendary item. It was a ring that is actually quite good. Mine was already equipped on my character when I started.
