i have an eye on it.. but since it is single player only.. and a short campaign.. i dont think i'm getting it.. but it seems it has some reaplay value (can save rpg elements from a playthrough to another) ill keep keeping my eye on it.. (that was strange xP)

i'm looking forward to it, but i'll wait for the reviews. different team and all, sure, but the last time EA tried to be creative with a new ip was Army of Two and hype and all, look how that turned out. Facebreaker also looks to be a complete piece of crap.
I am looking forward to it but Far Cry 2 is coming out around the same time and Far Cry 2 has online when Dead Space doesn't. I really don't know. I hope Far Cry 2 multiplayer is smooth and actually works because if doesn't, I'd be getting Dead Space for sure.
This'll probably be a day one purchase for me. Everything about it just looks really fun and intense. Say what you will about RE4, but it really has ushered in a new era for the Survival Horror genre.

the developers have specifically refered to event horizon as thier main inspiration for this game. i loved that movie so i have pretty high hopes for the game as well. the fact that EA is making the game is a big turn off for me but every now and then they come up with a pretty decent game.
It looks like it will satisfy gamers who love horror games, but to me the gameplay looks too boring from what I've seen from gameplay videos, looks too slow. But that's just my two cents.
Its definately on my radar, ive enjoyed the animated story videos they put out to fill you in on the backstory of the game, i just hope the actual story in the game will be as interesting, and the animated vids are'nt just there as a scapecote so they can include less story in the game itself .
