data from one console to the other pssible?????

if i bought a 60 gig can i transfer the data of my current 20 gig to that some how

You know you can just buy a new 2.5" SATA HDD from your local PC store or off the internet and swap out the HDD? You do not need to buy a whole new console for the extra HDD space.
That said, if you want the wireless features and the card readers then you will need to buy the 60GB version of the PS3.

Check the manual about transfering data from one HDD to the other, I'm sure it's possible. My best guess is that you would need to hook your current HDD (not the PS3 it self, just the HDD) up to your PC, and copy data to a temporary folder and then copy the data onto the new HDD. Or if you have both HDD's there, then you can hook them both up to your PC and transfer the files directly across to the new HDD.
