CofD4 - Double tap (increased rate of fire) v. stopping power (stronger bullets)

I'm just wondering for CofD4 online, what is the difference between the Persk "Double tap (increased rate of fire)" and "Stopping power (stronger bullets)"?

Sound like the both have the same result. My guess is that Double tap is better since it takes a higher rank to unlock it.

it depends how you use it, when i use stopping power i also use deep impact its a good combo stronger bullets and go through walls. to me its all on how you work them with other perks that helps make the difference

I prefer using Stopping Power over double tap because when combined with an already high powered gun such as an AK-47, 3 or 4 shots from any range with drop someone in a flash

I recently started using the Scorpion with doubletap. If your gonna try it, make sure you have Bandolier. lol I went 49-6 with is an hour ago. I'm a best with whatever gun I use, though. Check the sig.

Ok, I agree with most posters that double tap creates recoil and wastes ammo and stopping power is just as good but without these negatives. I'm stickin with stopping power.

lol wtf.. m16 + double tap is amazing lollexpanded

yea it's cool. I find it hard to kill people with the m16 in close range. If you want to see amazing try double tap with the saw. That is amazing. You blow threw a clip in 5 seconds.
