Can't download nor update anymore!?

Hello there, I hope I'll find help around cause I can't download anything till sunday. Here is what happenned: Sunday, I get my hands on The Eye of Judgment. When I start it up, it says that 1374 files needs to be update / download. So I start the procedure and it call for an error with the media server when the reach the 12th file. I start it over again but the second time my PS3 freezed badly at the 10th file. I've tried every button including the home button but there was nothing I can do except powering off the console...

Since then, I can easily get connected with my ID tag but the PSN seem very slow. I've get my hands on Wipeout HD too and I was able to download the first file (around 830 kb) but I can't download the game. The download start and stuck to 0%. I also tried to update GTA IV without success. And believe me, I've tried it many times. Now, I don't know what I can do but it seems that I can't download anything anymore.... Someone has any idea?

Yes. Back-up all data you want to keep then format your HDD, check if you download demo's / patches and then restore your data if you can. While if you can't then i would call SONY.
