the question is why would you want to? have a desire for constant crashes, and a severe drain on system resources? if you want an OS, use Linux, the only reason in the world right now not to use Linux on anything is software support, which isnt an issue on the ps3, other than that, Linux is leaps and bounds better than windows

They use Core 2.
uh yeah u can run windows from wine, but even gentoo linux and Ubuntu and Xubuntu are ungodly slow on it but yeah its possible i think it on has like 256megs of ram so its really slow
Yes it's true that you can run XP on the PS3 through linux, but I don't reccomeneded beacuse it's very sloooooooooooooooooooooooow, it takes like 15 minutes to start xp.
