I've never play the original GTA4 for the PS3, will I be able to access the entire city in episode for liberty city? Will I miss a lot of the story or don't understand what's going on?
Thanks in advance

Yes, you can access the whole city. Episodes from liberty has nothing to do with GTA4.Fightingfan
Some missions are tied to GTA IV missions...
But yes, you won`t lose anything on the history of TLAD nor TBOGT if you don`t play GTA IV first (I`d recomend playing it later anyway, it may be boring at the beginning but takes some pace towards the middle of it).
I think they're releasing a collection that includes both GTA4 and the 2 episodes so you should buy that instead
Yes, you can access the whole city, and you won't miss any of the story, since they're 2 original, great stories. In fact, I recommend you don't even get GTA IV and jump straight to GTA Episodes, because after you finish the 3 of them, you'll only want to play Ballad of Gay Tony and GTA IV won't have much replay value.I've never play the original GTA4 for the PS3, will I be able to access the entire city in episode for liberty city? ANY HELP WILL BE MUCH APRECIATED!!!!
Like many others on here said, you can enjoys the Episodes without having to play GTA IV first, but all 3 of the games tend to cross reference each other so i suppose it would be best to play through GTA 4 first just so you don't get lost. Completely your choice though, like we said, you dont have to.
You can play and enjoy the episodes without having played the main story. GTA IV is one of those special games that everyone keeps talking about years after its release. So I suggest that you play the main story first, then TLAD, and finish with TBOGT. Well worth the time. Lots of fun.
