@carr2332: Good experience, my wife enjoyed it on our PS3 but I picked it up from PSN sale last week for our PS4. I never played it and I'm about one third into the game, it's pretty darn good.

Old thread, but I'm gonna ask a followup question to anyone who has played it:

I stayed away from this game on PS3 despite loving Heavy Rain. I hated the ghost stuff in the demo and it got some pretty nasty reviews for a $60 game, a main complaint being that the story is told out of order. But I heard that the PS4 version offers a way to play the game in chronological order. Is this true?

@dylan417: That's one of the best parts of the game. The story telling is very unique. It's "out of order" but it makes sense in terms of flashbacks relating to what you need to know at the time. The "ghost stuff" is pretty much in every section of the game. It's your main "weapon" or tool. If you didn't like that for whatever reason, I'd skip it. The negative reviews are probably someone complaining it was too cinematic. Again, I disagree. I think it's cool as hell that we're in an era where a playstation game can be this creative and blur the lines between gaming and cinema

Opinions are kind of all over the place with this game, but I really enjoyed. Probably just as much, if not more, than Heavy Rain. I thought it looked great on the PS3 so I don't feel a remaster was necessary, but you might as well play it on the PS4 since you can.
