Hi

I was just wondering what are the best stores, In the USA for buying games.

I live in Ireland and will be heading to Orlando FL in a few weeks with $4000 in my pocket and wanna know what is the best store or store franchise to buy in.

Games are more than double the price here, So as you can imagine I'm excited at the prospect of been able to get all the games I want for half the money I normally pay.:D

I'm aware of gamestop and toy'r us but if there is somewhere else I can go and get some better deals I would appreciate the information.

As generally the most well known stores are normally the most expensive ones.

Thanks

agreed.....but you have to buy your games at BEST BUY, its a must, no clue teenage employees who know nothing about games and their release dates, if your lucky you can get GTA4 1 week before release. Ocassionally there are some really smart employees but mostly cool, they wont screw you over like gamestop.

PLEASE, do NOT spend all your money on video games! Spend atleast a thousand on miami strip clubs.

Go to Gamestop, Best Buy (my favorite), Circuit City, or Frys.

craphole? No that would be London..

BTW: Go to Best Buy... I don't like the type of people that shop at Wal Mart (seems like most of their shoppers are rural or ghetto, sorry to the wal mart shoppers on the board)

Best Buy is the place to go! They might not have cheaper prices (well, virtually everywhere here in the U.S. have the same price on new games), but when a game comes out that you didn't pre-order, they always have TONS of extras, so its pretty hard to go wrong

Are you going back to Ireland and playing the games? I don't think it would be compatible unless you have an outlet adaptor and you only buy US games. Anyway, Target has sales sometimes when $60 games get marked down to $37 for a few days. Best Buy is always good too.

Thx everybody

You have given me some really useful information.

Regarding compatibilty, I have purchased some games online for PS3 and PSP and DS and all seem to work fine, But I will enquire about getting an adaptor etc.

Thanks again
