Batman or Infamous?

I was interested in buying Infamous for some time as I like open world games and the gameplay looks really fun. Now it turns out that I like stealth action games like MGS etc too, and Batman:AA has gotten great reviews thus far. While I am not a huge fan of Batman, I won't mind playing as him either. So I'm asking which is the overall better package i.e which has the best: story, characters, graphics, atmosphere and value. So Basicaly which one to buy?

To tell you the truth both are great games. bought them both day 1 and beat them both.. tho i loved Batman more.. my opinion is get Batman first, beat it andd then trade it in and get inFAMOUS used if you dont want to waste too much money

I'd get some but I have no money left after Arkham Asylum and a lot of books.

Both were really amazing games and definite contenders for Game of the Year in my book but I think Batman:Arkham Asylum was better than inFamous. In fact, I think Batman is GOTY for me! Nothing else has yet to beat it, maybe Uncharted 2 or Brutal Legend.

Reasons why?

1. IT'S BATMAN! Best superhero of all time!

2. Refer to number 1

3. Gameplay is more engaging and allows for more creativity.

You wanna hum the Batman themewhile playing? Get Arkam Asylum.

You wanna hum Electricity while playing? Get inFAMOUS.

Personally I could never choose between the two.:P I just love those damn songs.:lol:

Both are pretty damn close, but personally, it's a no-brainer- I loved inFamous from start to finish. It's like taking a superhero and putting him in a GTA-style sandbox setting, and it just totally rules. Some of the battles towards the end are both epic and intense.

I've never been into comics so Batman doesn't appeal to me as much, but the game is great. Honestly, you really have to play both (at some point). :)

Ive got both but like Batman Arkham Asylum better.

If your a Batman fan, then get Batman.

Batman Arkham Asylum since it never gets old because of the many gameplay elements. You'll never want to stop each time you start up the game. Plus it's a good Batman game. Plus it's freaking Batman.

inFamous is also amazing though. You'll want to play each game over and over again regardless of which you pick. Both Batman and inFamous are my favorite games of the year, so either way you can't go wrong.

Batman, although both are great games. Infamous was considered by Gamespot to be the best superhero game of all time - BUT THEN batman came along and took that title. It's a toughie, but yeah, batman would be a great choice - although i found the game to be a bit too easy to complete (last boss beaten, all riddles solved - took me 2/3 evenings out of the 7-day rental to beat that game). Rent both, but if u REALLy want to buy somethin, ur on your own there.

And you know wat? Here's my list for my top 4 ps3 games:

1) Bioshock (great story, great A.I. + gameplay)

2) COD4 (was good back when teh online community was booming...not so sure anymore)

3) Infamous (more free-roaming and free-flowing than batman).
4) Batman AA (a bit on the castraphobic side - at least compared to Infamous).

Though, 3 and 4 are close, mind you. I just like to give credit to devs who create new original franchises (Infamous) - cuz as you kno, Batman has been around for a long time now. That's one of the reasons why infamous is in no. 3.
