You can't really compare them lol, they are completely different characters from different games and people are going to say the character they like more because they have never seen them fight together (except maybe in kingdom hearts i haven't played the whole game) but still i don't think you can really compare them.........
...Cloud would just own? lol, I know with Auron (by far the strongest character in FFX), I was able to do 99999 with a single sword swipe. I don't think Cloud can come close to that, considering omnislash requires a lot of buildup. As was said, though, different worlds, so who knows what 100 damage is equal to in each game.
Auron is a mans man, cloud on the other hand is way to emo for me, I just think Auron is the more badass character in any FF game (besides Sephiroth of course)
