I probably will. I just H8 that you have to play online with QB vision on (at least in last year's game). That sucks I hate it. I never use it offline, so when I go online I get smoked because I'm not that good at using it. I'm old school Madden, and QB vision is lame.

I cant believe EA and the rest of the publishers wont learn the system. come on people step up!
Fps dosent really matter unless the game starts to choke and slowdown... as long as the game is smooth i dont really care what FPS the game runs at, well PC's are another story :D
I just saw a new interview with one of the lead programmers from EA and he was talking about the FPS issue between the 360 and PS3. He basically said that it wouldnt really affect actual gameplay noticeably. He said when WR's are running routes or whatever, there is no difference. The extra FPS only some of the animations and whatnot look smoother. I see no big deal here!
I got NCAA 08, and I think it's great. However, not being a big pro football fan, I don't plan on picking up madden. I'll probably rent it at some point, though.
wow ...(I know i'm gonna getBOMBED for this) buti dont understand how a game that is exactly the same in gameplay almost year after year can sell so much, all that changes is roster. If you bought Madden last year, why buy it this year? I played my Madden95 on my Genesis, played Madden 2003 on my PS2 and played Madden 2007 on my friends 360 ... and all thats majorly changed is graphics and roster, Gameplay has slightly changed, oh look my characterdances when i score atouchdown and theres cheerleaders, my menu looks sleeker, now i can look through the eyes of a QB, nothings major, Madden is a great series, fun to play but to buy the game again and again ... well that just seems pointless when so little changes from game to game.
If you really like football, and you really like madden, then you will see the differences each year, but if you are just a casual gamer, then the differences you see are going to be minor..

i'm gonna buy it but for 360 i just dont want any choppy gameplay

dude I got NCAA football on 360 and Ive seen the PS3 version at my friends house and it is definitely noticeable and irritating.
The Past two Years the 360 versions I bought were 30fps. It is not that big of a deal. I bought NCAA 2008 for my PS3 this Year. 30fps is marginally noticeable. Next Year they will probably get it tuned into 60fps, it took till the 3rd Year to get the 360 there.

The last 2 years ive become quite the football fan so i do plan on picking up madden. This will be my first and last madden, since i really dont see the point in buying it every year.
