Are they going to Remake FF7?

That would be awesome that was like the first RPG? game ive ever played seriosuly, when i was a 9 year old lol,

i think from i remeber it would be awesome to see all those characters in updated graphics and game play, and id love to see that guy with a machine gun for a hand again that would b awesome,

is that game worth buying again? or would it seem outdated ?

theres apparently going to be a playable demo of FF7 on the FF13 engine bundled with the Advent Children CompleteBlu Ray.

whether or not that means theyre going to do it or not is still undecided.

besides Square Enix has been saying theyll remake FF7 for PS3 for a while now.

actualy with Final Fantasy 7 advent children complete blue ray is coming the FFXIII demo not the FFVII demo

this news makes me giddy cause my local used guy wants 60 bucks for that game. if it came out new and updated at that price i would pay

thats cracy a FF7 game for 60 dollars dannngggg, you would think since it sold well there would b enough copies to still buy for cheap

whether or not that means theyre going to do it or not is still undecided. It has been decided and that is they're not remaking it.

besides Square Enix has been saying theyll remake FF7 for PS3 for a while now. Square-Enix hasn't announced or even hinted that there will be a remake, they haven't even commented on the statement.

Sorry but all those statements are false.

If, and I stress if they decide to remake it, which is highly unlikely, they won't start it until they finish the other 8 or so projects they're already working on.

I don't want a remake .. just for them to make more copies or sell it on PSN ..

The story and gameplay is where it shines .. plus the graphics will give it its nostalgia ..

anyway, i think they shouldn't remake it. If the want to visit that world again, they should do it with a sequel.

Also, I would not & 100% feel Square Enix will not do a remake. If anything I feel sometime after FFversus13 that Square Enix will do a follow up to FF7 with genesis as the antagonist. Remakes would show that Square Enix is not progressing with ideas but rather going through a regressive point in their ideas. FF7 was a great game....However it is not the ONLY rpg that (If I agreed with remakes) should receive a remake. MusashiSensi
