I am shopping for a 24" LCD monitor with HDMI connection and built-in speakers. I am not sure if all of them are compatible with PS3. As long as it has HDMI connection and it's resolution is 1920 x 1080 right?

Thanks

For sure.. I have a similar set-up myself with a 24" Samsung, except I'm using my PC speakers instead of the one built into the monitor.

Yeah that's fine. I personally have a 23" monitor/TV hybrid and I love it. Only thing I would warn you of is that monitor speakers are pretty terrible, so I hook it up to my stereo in my bedroom.

If it has HDMI it will be HDCP compatible. I'm pretty sure about that.

i used a 24" acer but that died so now im just using my old 19", though planning to get a new 27" samsung soon, just get a hdmi to dvi cable, or if you have a new monitor it will most likely have a hdmi port.

And i also run the sound through my computer by pluging the red and white from the composite cables into an adapter then the computers sound input
