NO trophies?:evil: This game was released so close to the update, that if sony was taking trophies seriously it should have them. I beat the game and gave it a break for 3 weeks and am ready to do it again, but would rather get trophies than not. I love achievements and want to start building up trophies. Trophies should be mandatory.:evil:
They'll be pretty much standard now that the PS3 actually has trophy support. For the games that aren't released yet, they still have time to implement support for them. I can understand why some released games won't be patched though because it isn't really beneficial for the developer. They'll have to spend time, money, and resources to patch their old games to support trophies, but won't recieve any money for it.

If they were implimented, they might make trophies to hard for most people to get leading in frustration that they have gotten over 30 Alert phases before Act 2. Then they might decide to make them to easy and then people get dissapointed that they would make them too lame and not worth it. So...Who takes the Apple? The worm inside hiding while they fued...
I believe that these will come along in a month or two, probably coupled in with some update. Also a word on older games recieving trophy patches. I reckon most will not, but perhaps the new 'Platinum PS3 Titles' range may get them to help boost sales.....
im pretty sure they arent coming. i read something before about why they arent coming. pretty sure they believe it wont help mgs4 sales since everyone who wants mgs4 has it already and if you have you have no doubt have beaten it too so there is no reason for it.
anyway the team are very busy making mgo suck and making dlc that screws the game up so expect trophies for mgo
As for trophies, hear me out on my idea Konami has a patent for MGS Existence. MGS Existence is the re-release of MGS4 coming this year. Since it is coming out this year, it will have trophies, along with new game modes and new features. Seems plausible eh? ;)
