Any GT5 fans stoked about Drive Club?

I have been following the media for the game called "Drive Club" on PS4 and it is looking pretty amazing in my opinion. 

Any GT5 fans planning on getting Drive Club upon release?

It looks interesting enough, but it's not a console seller. For me. More stoked about GT6 on my PS3.

Not too much...I would check out the review score it gets etc...wouldn't mind if they dropped it on ps+ sometime later...but I rather stick to the original GT series...number 6 coming out soon.

But if for some reason drive club seems to be better than GT6, I suppose I would pay more attention towards Drive club...don't see that happening though

It's unfortunate that it's on PS4 - I'm not pointing out that it's a PS4 title to be a d*ck and say "This is the PS3 Forums"; Discussing PS4 here is just fine... The problem is, it's PS4, and I don't see anything about PS4 that moves me - This doesn't change that view. I love racing games (I think I have about 40 racing titles in my library over several systems so it's one of my most-favorite genres), but I also agree with other posts here: It's not a console seller by any means, and unfortunately it looks like they intend to keep it dumbed down and watered to the point of 'meh', so I'm not interested. I'll put my money into GT6 whenever that gets released.

Yeh of course man, im not a GT fanboy you know. Im actually a Sony fanboy, so any exclusive racing game that comes to PS4 im going to be excited about. ANd the game does in fact look pretty sweet. Well, from the little footage we've seen so far anyway.

Sounds like it's built mainly around online play, as the developers keep using the word "social" over and over, and that's what the "club" in Drive Club is all about.  I've played "realistic" arcade sim's online before - it's nothing but a bunch of little kids playing demolition derby. 

Maybe I'll get it when it hits the bargain bin just to check out what, if any, single player career mode it has.  I'm not planning on getting a PS4 until most of the launch titles are in the bargain bin anyway.

Yea, I was thinking Drive Club was actually going to be a little more Sim than what it sounds like you guys are describing.  Looked that way from the videos anyways.  I am surprised that GT6 will be on PS3 and not PS4.  I sure hope they actually finish the game this time.  They better not do that "Standard Car" crap from GT4 again.  I was so pissed to see that in GT5.  I haven't got many details on GT6 yet.  Think it will make the grade?
